Fried Chicken

I just ate fried chicken.  Not some crappy old, gross fried chicken.  But Church's spicy fried chicken.  It was delicious.

Soooo, it's been a while since my last post.  There's no reason for that, other than being a lazy ass

Seeing as the only thing I know a good amount about is sports, let's talk sports.

We are on the brink of March madness.  I am not a crazy hoops guy, but I really like March madness.  Maybe it's the prospect of winning money on a winning bracket.  Only problem with that is, I never have the winning bracket.  No matter how many different variations I fill out, I never win.  Kind of like fantasy football.  Never win.  Here's something interesting though.  My buddy Ryan is the only person I know that actually fills out "the bracket of integrity" every year.  I think it's fun to have a bunch of different brackets, but Ryan always has just one.  I give him props for this, but I won't subscribe to it.

(This is not about sports)  I saw a rock show last week.  The Walkmen jammed out for sure.  Their front man has vocal chords from hell.  I said to a friend after the 2nd song they did, "there's no way he can keep up that level of screaming."  But he did.  As good as the Walkmen were, my favorite thing I took away from said rock show was the opening band.  They were a folk rock outfit from Seattle call the head and the heart.  They fall into the Mumford & Sons/Avett Bros category of music that's very popular right now, but I dig it.  Hope you like them too.

Charlie Sheen is sweeping the world.  At first it was pretty hilarious, but now I'm just annoyed by him.

Baseball is about to get underway.  I can't wait to get out to the ball park.  I like the game of baseball a lot, but my favorite thing about it is getting out to the park and having a beer and dog.  It really makes me feel like summer has arrived, and I love summer.

The NFL needs to get their act together.  I don't even want to think about a year without professional football, so I won't go too into it.  But if there is a lockout, I will cry like the Miami Heat.

Well that was all over the place, guess I'll get back to work now. I'm going to try to blog with more frequency.   Hopefully this doesn't happen to you before the next time we speak.
